Written and edited by Juneau Gardeners and volunteers from the Juneau Garden Club, This third edition of Gardening in Southeast Alaska reflects the voices of diverse Southeast Alaska gardeners from Ketchikan to Haines. Young and old, professional landscape architects and home-grown gardeners, these Southeast Alaska gardeners share what they have learned from their years of gardening trial-and error experiences. Included are new as well as tried-and-true ideas and gardening knowledge adapted from other regions. The articles in this book are as richly diverse as the Southeast Alaska gardeners who wrote them. Gardening in Southeast Alaska continues to serve as a Southeast Alaskan garden reference book. This edition includes previous authors as well as a host of new contributors. Additions include new topics, updated information, personal gardening vignettes, updated binding, a glossary, and an expanded index. We hope this book will enhance the joy of gardening in Southeast Alaska for everyone from the experienced to the novice gardener.
